Silver Comet Trail

Built in 1998, the 62-mile Silver Comet Trail runs from Smyrna to Cedartown on an abandoned railway. The trail continues into Alabama for another 33 miles, becoming the Chief Ladifa Trail. Passing through downtowns along the way, the trail brings revenue to local businesses from the many bikers and pedestrians of the trail. Below is a picture of the restored depot of Cedartown.
